I really enjoyed reading this story. The plot and character development was great, and not groin-centric. My one main gripe was the horrible transcription, but I can't complain too much since it only cost .99. But come on! The misspellings were very distracting.Product details

Barton's book in not only a nostalgic evocation of Central Oregon but a gripping and moving story of friendship and love. He has a singular gift for narrativethe story line is so compelling that I could not put it down, as I just had to know what would happen next. But this is not just a well plotted novel; it is a story that is peopled with characters and situations that are human and true---and on occasion all too human and true.
I look forward to more of Barton's work. He may be the next star in Gay Literature.
